Nice. I didn't mean a whole kit just adaptor and that's what I figured. You gonna use Radirs for your rims?

It is not a kit. There is only one place making a kit for the VW bug and it costs 11K and up.

I have pieced it together myself, bought a ton of universal stuff such as High pressure  inline fuel pump.. I am going to use a 1984 vw scirroco radiator and run the plumbing under the car.. Some people that do the swap do their wiring harness and ECU cut down themselfs, or buy a stand alone EMS but I want to use factory ecu and have it look factory. So I sent it to enginewiring.com and had them sort it out. Cost alot but still cheaper then buying a standalone, Plus I will have all the goodies. Also their are many companies that make the adapter plates to fit to vw trans, but I went with kennedy engineering plate, since they have the best reviews. I cannot wait till it runs in about 3 weeks. But I will not be driving it then.. I still have to do all the suspension to be able to handle it. I am going with topline suspension... Maxx struts and all their goodies. Disc brake conv with them redrilled to 4x100 so I can run 17X7 rims also..

here is a link to my build.. I will be going turbo in the future and rebuild this engine with all the goodies. just want to get the swap working before I do that. My suby 2.2l is the rare turbo 2.2L.

I know of http://www.averysaircooled.com/ which is located in woodland, Wa.. I know they will build a trans the same as Rancho trans does.. But I have not used one of there trans.. They do have a few drag bugs they run with there trans that always seem to run strong.. They are also Matney racing.. Might want to check into them. But I cannot say ya or nay to there trans. I will be using them to build mine when I blow the one I have, Which is only a matter of time once the 300hp hits it. but i am still building my car.
